Being Skinny Is Healthy

Having a lot of excess fat can be dangerous in several ways, not only does fat alter the shape of the body, but it also degrades your health.  The excess fat around the body can be very uncomfortable, and it can even shorten your lifespan. You don’t have to be super skinny like you see in fashion magazines or the media to be healthy, but getting rid of unhealthy fat will do wonders for your health and appearance. A thin and healthy body will also help you feel good emotionally. I don’t know many people who feel good about being fat.

How To Be Skinny

The best way to reduce fat in the body is to exercise, eat right and take the appropriate vitamin and mineral supplements. These three activities can be difficult, but are necessary for good health. It is important to note that if you can’t do one of these activities then you need to overcompensate with the other. For example, If you don’t have time to exercise, then you would need to eat even better. If you don’t have time to cook healthy meals then you would need to work-out like crazy or take the right supplements. Although each of these activities will help you become skinny on their own, it is best to do all three. Make small choices each day to eat healthier, exercise daily and start taking a vitamin and mineral supplement. This is the method you must use to be skinny.

Green Vegetables

Vegetables can fill the stomach without adding calories to the body. Spinach and broccoli are great vegetables that fill the stomach without donating a large amount of calories, so you won’t be too hungry. A good rule of thumb is to eat vegetables with lots of fiber.

Whole Grains

If you are not hungry, you will not eat. Minerals can help you stay full as well as fiber. Whole grains can be very helpful as they contain a lot of fiber. The fiber can keep the stomach full for a long time. The only downside is the carbohydrates that you need to watch.

Eggs-

Many people do not believe the power of eggs, in order to reduce the amount of fat in the belly.  Eggs consists of vitamin B 12, which is essential for the the oxidization of fats. You can also take a Vitamin B supplement, but eggs taste great in the morning, especially with a little hot sauce. The only downside is the potential for an increase in cholesterol, so check your cholesterol level prior to heavy consumption.

Oatmeal

It is a very good selection to decrease the level of fat in the belly. This food can be in the stomach for hours and the fibers in the oatmeal can control the absorption of fat. As sugar is not suitable to the body, it is better to refrain from instant oatmeal, which consists of added sugar and flavors. Plain oatmeal can be made tasty by adding berries or fruit.

Almonds (and other nuts)

Eating 24 almond nuts can keep the stomach full and reduce the excess consumption of food. You may eat less, but 24 is a good number. Be cautious when choosing nuts as some are salted and flavored. Salted nuts can be harmful and increase the risk of heart related diseases.

Protein Powder

The protein powder can be very useful to burn fat and also to build muscles. This can be added to the smoothies or anti-fat drinks. A smoothie can be made easily with yoghurt, fruits and low fat milk.
